Instructor - Trina O'Rourke
Trina will walk you through, step-by-step how to create Sue's PROUD PEACOCK BLOCK fully featured in Sue's Creative Texturing book (now out of stock). The pattern provided is for construction of the block, includes suggested textural background stitching and embellishment stitch placement diagrams for the peacock. Finishing of the piece is up to you to do as much or as little stitching as you'd like! Utilize Sue's Creative Stitching, second edition as a resource for stitch instruction and execution. Create your one-of-a-kind masterpiece with Trina's expert guidance.
Class Fee: $235 for all four classes with Trina + kit $145 + threads
**NOTE - this payment is for the registration fee of $25 for the prerecorded zoom link plus your kit. Subsequent payments of $70/class are to be made directly to Laura Campsall of Farm Girl Quilting and can be made prior to attending class in Beaverton.
As always, Sue Spargo Folk-Art Quilts has provided The Cotton Harvest with kits for class participants! Kits come complete with original coloured hand-dyed wool and velvet, silk, quality cottons, velvet ribbons, ricrac, ribbons, beads and buttons to successfully complete your project!

FIRST class ONLY will be via prerecorded ZOOM link for instruction on how to create your background. ALL subsequent classes will be at Farm Girl Quilting, Thorah Concession 2, Beaverton, Ontario.

Saturday, May 24 - 10am - 4pm (wool applique and needle turn applique of peacock)
Sunday, July 13 - 10am - 4pm (Creative stitching instruction)
Saturday, September 13 - 10am - 4pm (Hexi making, background/peacock stitching)
NOTE - this class is NOT recommended for somebody who has never done any Creative Stitching before. We recommend taking one of our Introduction to Sue Spargo Creative Stitching classes prior to taking any of our more advanced classes.
