2-Day, Pop-up Workshop in Jordan, Ontario

2-Day INTRODUCTION TO
SUE SPARGO CREATIVE STITCHING

Instructor:  Trina O'Rourke - Trina has logged countless instruction hours over many years with Sue Spargo and has attended several week-long workshops with Sue in various locations, her favourite being Tanque Verde Ranch in Arizona hosted by Madeline Island School of the Arts!  Creative Stitching has become something she is incredibly passionate about!  She invites you to come learn the tranquility and calm of Creative Stitching!

During the early days of the pandemic, Sue created the Toned Down Circle Sampler as a way for her to stay connected with her followers.  She stitched a circle a day for 90 days!  It was a project that gave many people hope and purpose!

Class Details:   We will be creating our own 'mini- sampler' with just nine circles instead of ninety!  Trina will teach basic stitches which you will apply to your circles learning to add to your stitches and layer them with different weights of thread.

Day 2:  We continue on with our stitching, learning some of the more advanced stitches in Sue's book.

Typically there is prep work required prior to class BUT given the short notice for this workshop, we will do your homework for you!!

Location:  Jordan, Ontario

Date and Time - 10am-3pm
Wednesday, March 18 & Thursday, March 19, 2026

Class Fee:  $150+ $40 for the kit

Kit Fee includes wool background, nine pre-punched wool circles stitched down to your background with Sue's Ellana threads, 4 needles and the use of our embellishing threads for the two days.

Sue Spargo's Creative Stitching Second Edition book is an asset for this class and is available for purchase at The Cotton Harvest.
